So you’re engaged. Congrats! Show us the ring! Schedule the day! Register for a bed! Wait. What?
Yep, that’s right – I said register for a bed. And I mean it. GET THEE TO A CRATE & BARREL, ASAP! Registering within weeks of getting engaged was one of the BEST decisions that The Boy and I made in those early days of pre-nuptial craziness. People wanted to give us gifts (in general, for our birthdays, for Christmas, etc.) and being able to direct them to our registries was great (for us and for them). No fuss.

Trying to plan your registry? Never fear, m’dear! Once a week for the next two months, I’ll be breaking down each section of the registry (generally by room) and offering you practical suggestions on items to register for. Today, we’re tackling the bedroom (grrrr):

Your bedroom doesn’t need much but be sure to invest in the important things as you’ll be using them every day. A good mattress and sheets are, indeed, expensive but when you consider the fact that you’ll be spending 8-10 hours every single day on them – that’s a sound investment. So, Tulle Nation – whaddya think? Did I leave anything off?

I so wanted a bed from C&B! But we did a honeymoon registry and that was amazing too! Good ideas though :)

Great photos and bedroom inspiration! My husband and I are moving in just a couple of weeks and plan on redoing our bedroom, too! Very smart to register for all of that stuff, too...even if you don't think you'll get it, since you can still take advantage of the discount! I actually didn't think of that when I first registered, and wished someone had told me earlier!

I'll take all of that! Super cute ideas! The last picture is from Tybee - that's where I live right near Savannah, GA.
