So I love me some online shopping clubs and I'm a member of several of them - one being Rue La La (I bought some loverly jewelry form them in the past!). So, when Rue La La contacted me with a heads up on the upcoming “Style! I Do.” private boutique debuting on April 25th - I had to share it with y'all!*
*Rue La La is compensating me for this post with store credits but I have been a Rue La La customer for over a year now. I would have shared their store with y'all anyway... the credits are just a bonus!

As y'all know, planning the perfect wedding can be a pricey undertaking and brides are always on the lookout for designer pieces at great prices. The good news is that Rue La La, a private sale shopping website that features 48 hour boutiques of the best brands in the world, is here to do just that!

On April 25th at 11:00 a.m. for just 48 hours, Rue La La will open their “Style! I Do.” private boutique, complete with items from Badgley Mischka, Nicole Miller, and Jenny Yoo.

The theme of the boutique is ‘decades’, with wedding and bridesmaid dresses inspired by the 1920s, 1970s and today. My favorite? The feminine Badgley Mischka wedding dress above! What's yours? Will your dress be a splurge or a save for you and your budget? Wanna know about a few of my wedding's splurge and saves?!?! OF COURSE YOU DO!
This photo from Every Last Detail was the inspiration for The Boy and my wedding's first splurge and save - the dessert table. Our needs were simple so we decided to create an amazing table with a few splurges and a lot of saves! For example, we're splurging on investing in a collection of cake stands (that we'll use for years) and saving on the wedding cake itself (by doing a small homemade layer cake with cream cheese frosting)!
Another of my wedding saves and splurges is my wedding attire! I pinned this image from Modernly Wed pretty early on in the wedding planning process because I loved the brightly colored shoes and deep fuschia peony bouquet (so lovely but a little different from the traditional pinky peonies). I have no problems splurging on a fabulous pair of shoes (like the ones above form Steve Madden) because I'll be able to wear them again at work. I'm saving on my splurge-looking peony bouquet buy DIYing it myself and buying the flowers from the local wholesale floral market. Holla!
So, Tulle Nation - what are your wedding day saves and splurges? Will you be swinging by Rue La La for a little designer wedding love? Need an invite? I've got one for you!

This is fun! What a great alternative and a great shop!
