So last Fitness Friday I announced my plans to tackle this here crazy diet called, aptly, The 7 Day Diet. Because it lasts for 7 days. And it's supposed to help you (relatively safely) lose about 10 pounds in 7 days. I asked if anyone in Tulle Nation wanted to join me and hey! A few of you joined up.

I started this diet on Monday with a small group from Tulle Nation. When I began, my weight was 138.6 pounds with 28.8% body fat. As of last night, I weighed in at 135.8 pounds and a 28.7% of body fat. SO! It IS working! I've actually liked the diet fine so far. I eat a diet pretty heavy in fruits and veggies anyway so sticking only to one or the other all day hasn't been a big deal. What has been frustrating is that I usually eat my vegetables with some peanut butter or hummus or a pieces of chicken or some tuna. And for me? Straight up veggies all day – is boring.
But I DEFINITELY finished up the hardest day yet. Yesterday was Milk and Banana Day. Yep, that's right, for one day all you eat is milk and bananas. Remarkably filling (I couldn't manage to eat/drink it all) but MIND NUMBINGLY BORING.I am so excited to eat meat again today. Y'all have NO idea. In fact, I think my last thought when I went to bed last night was "I cannot WAIT to wake up tomorrow because I get to eat chicken. CHICKEN!!!" Obviously, I have issues.

As always, I’m putting it out there and asking Team Tulle for your support. There's only a few short weeks until my wedding (!) and I'll need all the support I can get to stay on this weight loss journey and not binge on tacos. Mmmmmm… tacos. Bug me on Twitter, Facebook, check out my Fitness board on Pinterest, and be my friend on My Fitness Pal (I’m akbuilt – invite me to be your friend and I’ll add you to my group!). And please, please keep those practical fitness tips and nutritional suggestions coming – they are REALLY helpful to me.

So glad I found this! I weigh exactly the same as you and I would love to drop a couple of pounds before Memorial Weekend (and being on the lake in my bathing suit). My schedule is crazy because I always seem to have a meal (lunch meetings, dinner meetings, cooking classes) but I am going to fit this in starting tomorrow. I think it will be easy except for what vegetable to eat for breakfast?! And I don’t know how I can eat all those tomatoes!

Per instructions from Hot Patrick, I skip breakfast and have a large lunch so it wasn’t an issue for me. Others in the group made green juice or have sauteed tomatoes.
Eat cherry or grape tomatoes on tomato/fowl day. It makes it less overwhelming. Good luck! And remember, you can always email me if you need help.

I made it 3/4 of a day but I started getting a headache so I fell off the wagon. HAHA. I don’t know if there are any fancy tricks in this diet except it is very low calorie. I made so much fruit salad that I am still going to eat it as most of my meals. When I put in the cups of strawberries, watermelon, pineapple and grapes into my calorie counter, all fruits have less than 100 calories. Also, I do find that there is enough bulk in the fruit to keep me feeling full. However, I am sad to say, I cannot live on fruit alone. Thank you for sharing and I really enjoy your blog!!
