I really love the idea of a dress being "gifted" among brides instead of "trashing the dress", it provides even more of a sentimental touch to think how many leading ladies wore this dress on the happiest day of their life, it also becomes a great story to share! I confess, I'm just a little in love with the idea. xo

Aw! Yep, it's all Liz... she's the brilliant star I'm hitching my wagon to!

And, I agree - 1. trash the dress session piss me off! <-- the wastefulness is frustrating and 2. a huge part of why I loved my dress SO much was the love from Liz that i felt every time I put it on. Cheesy? Totally true.

Thanks for sharing our story, the dress, and helping me SOOO much along this journey Cris. I'm simultaneously a little sad and overjoyed to see this dress going to a new home (the same way I felt when giving it to you the first time.) I know that our journey together is far from over and can't wait to hear about the friend you'll make in the process of donating our dress.

Thank you so, so much for everything.

Liz, Thank you! None of this ever would have happened without you and your generosity and a plan. I confess, I teared up a little when I posted my dress to the forum. I'm so attached to the story and journey behind it and it became a big symbol of the amazingness of the wedding world.

This is an amazing story and idea Cris! I am so excited to see where the lovely dress goes next....one more day in the sun! :)

Thanks, Allie! I'm looking forward to it, too.
