I love it when a bride and groom elect to have a simple wedding with a few trendy touches but do it with style and on a budget! Rachel and Joseph wanted a lovely, vintage wedding with peonies and Mason jars but kept it all very simple and budget-friendly by sticking to a pastel palette of pinks and whites and only having a few trendy bits. By splurging on their favorites (peonies and Mason jars) the couple were able to focus their wedding ceremony and having fun!

From photographer Teresa K Photography, "Rachel’s best friend growing up was destined to be her future sister-in-law, but [the] timing wasn’t quite right in the beginning. And so she held her little crush inside. It took Joseph some time to figure out that his perfect soulmate was right there underneath his nose. But once he did, the rest was pure magic.
[Funny story], Joseph’s so dedicated to bettering himself that the morning of his wedding he took a final exam for one of his courses…and aced it! Rachel spent the morning getting ready for her wedding in a local hotel before heading off to marry the guy of her dreams at the St. Teresa of Avila Parish in Auburn. It was a beautiful and touching catholic ceremony. Joseph was the last of his three brothers to marry and you could see how much the day meant to the entire family, especially his mother.
They were joined together as husband and wife surrounded with the love and support of their family and friends. Their reception was at the Auburn Veteran’s Memorial Hall. The reception hall was decorated with beautiful pink flowers, mason jars with tea lights, and twinkling lights for the ceiling. It was a romantic dream. And wait until you see what these guys did to a couple of poor innocent piñatas at the end of the day."
