DIY: Guest Books

One of the nicest activity/keepsakes from a shower is the guest book. Gone are the days of the stuffy, lace covered mini books with bare bones printed lines. In today's fun and casual society – anything goes. Here are some of my favorite (and inexpensive) ideas:

I love this idea of having a table with lots of fun "stuff" – pretty papers, pens, and stickers – for the guests to make their own "love notes" for the bride. Click Here for step-by-step instructions.

I think that is one of the best (and cheapest) guest books I have ever seen. Collect some smooth, round stones (like the kind you would use as skipping stones) and lay them out with some pens. Have the guests write messages and then collect them in a glass vase for the bride.

This is another really inexpensive and fun idea. Just purchase a few blank notepads and some colorful pencils. Lay them out and let the guests have at it! Collect them together, roll into a scroll, tie with a pretty ribbon, and present to the bride at the end of the shindig.
