Inspiration: Fourth of July Weddings

Today's post is a continuation of yesterday's tasteful decor post. If you recall, I wrote this little nugget of insight:

"Let's face it. Loads of weddings are held over the long Fourth of July weekend. And many of these weddings choose to utilize the holiday's built-in red, white, and blue theme. This is great but I would caution you to be very careful in the execution. Too much of the primary color elements can be visually overwhelming and less than romantic."

As you can see, the key to a successful, non-crazy primary-colored Fourth of July wedding is layering. Layer your red, white, and blues over a canvas of crisp whites and neutrals. Also, tone down your traditional Fourth colors with grays – chose red, white, and blues with a gray undertone for a neat and clean look.
