DIY: Save the Date or Announcement Cards

When pressed with a tight budget for their wedding, most couples take the easy route to help them trim costs – they cut out all the little extras. You know, like favors, gift baskets, save the dates, and announcement cards. And really, that's a smart way to go.

However, I am a big believer in the little extras. They really change a wedding from cheap and bare bones to "Wow! I cannot believe that they did all this for the little!". Because it really is all the little details and touches that make a wedding feel more luxe – NOT the amount of money that was spent on those things. So, in that vein – I have found some really great and colorful mini cards that can be personalized and used for a save the date card or as a nifty little announcement card (which announces your new name and address and can be be passed out at the wedding). From the brill Cameron Blazer comes these colorful FREE cards. Just download and follow the directions to print them…the only cost to you is a bit of ink and paper and a little time.
