When you grow up in Alaska, the ability to just go an pick up a bouquet of flowers for dinner is almost impossible. There are few options except a couple of overpriced floral shops that specialize in the pastel monstrosities last showcased in the 1980's; or you could select from a few supermarket bouquets that start at twelve bucks and feature five limp and wilted daisies. Sometimes I just craved a nice dozen flowers for around $10.00.
But, that is no longer. In today's world, one can grab a great bundle of flowery goodness while cruising the produce aisle for fresh garlic. And for an unbelievable price and the tiniest bit of your time, you (or someone you love) can transform it into an awesome bouquet for your wedding.
