Food: Ethnic Themed Menu

If you love ethnic food but think that your guests would be put off by placing it on your wedding menu – think simplified. Take the components of a Middle Eastern meal and "Americanize" it. For example:

This simplified version includes simple flavors, like olives and feta cheese, that Americans can recognize and aren't afraid to try. Also, by presenting this as a sort of anti-pasto dish during the appetizers, guests can nosh at will. Click Here for the complete recipe.

A really simple take that will leave your guests feeling as though they've gotten a taste of Middle Eastern cuisine without scaring them with unfamiliar tastes. This is also a really budget friendly meal as the chicken breasts can be purchased on sale (in bulk) and frozen until needed, cucumbers are an always budget friendly produce option (buy in bulk), and couscous is not only an inexpensive (look for it in the rice aisle) option but it's incredibly fast and foolproof to make.
