Food: Seafood Option Only Entree

It becoming a real issue for couples to think about when planning thier wedding menu. A bunch of our guests don't eat traditional meats (beef, chicken, pork) and seafood can be so expensive. What to do?

If you have access to wild or responsibly farmed salmon, fall sees a lot of great sales on this as the salmon season is pretty much over. While salmon tastes best fresh, it can be frozen and then made into a very yummy dish once glazed.

And served over cheaper side options like rice (buy in bulk), broccoli (see which is cheaper – fresh or frozen), and sweet red onions (buy in bulk) – this is one powerful and tasty entree. Pair with crusty bread and a lovely simple white wine and your guests will thank you. Click Here for the complete recipe.

OR

Try really great tasting but super cheap tilapia. Tilapia is best if it is farm raised and at my local grocery store it goes for $2.99 (for four frozen fillets). Tilapia tatses best when paired with simple fall vegetables and a salad.
