Weddings, like filming movies, are very much "Hurry Up and Wait". There's a lot of gathering everyone together and then waiting around taking turns for photos or hair. Adults deal with this rush and stop mentality by making small talk and noshing on nibbles. But kids? Not so much with the waiting.

In the hours before the actual wedding ceremony, make sure that someone has provided a DVD player, a few kid-friendly movies, some crayons, and a coloring book (try this FREE one from Heather at We Met ina a Bar). These few items should provide hours of safe (and clean) entertainment for the kiddos in the crew – and make them lots more agreeable when photos and the actual ceremony roll around!
