I'm definitely feeling all of my 29 weeks in this second pregnancy (I officially hit the third trimester last week).
It's like I hit a wall and I'm just tired all the time.
Me At 29 Weeks
As I did with my first pregnancy, I'm taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin).
How far along?
29 Weeks.
Total weight gain/loss:
I weighted in at 206 pounds at my appointment last Friday.
Honestly, I actually thought I had gained much more than that so, while I'm disappointed in myself for gaining as much as I have, I'm not doing so shabby overall.
Maternity clothes?
Love, love, LOVE these leggings and this cardigan that I bought last week!
Stretch marks?
Yes and I'm using this cream to see if I can make them less noticeable/not get new ones. We'll see.
Sleep:
Sleep has been awesome this week. I got to sleep in my own bed while in Chicago!
Best moment this week:
Being alone while in Chicago.
I really missed my baby girl but it was SO nice to use the bathroom alone, watch whatever I wanted on TV without having a tiny butt shoved in my face, and got to visit with friends.
It was just a really nice break before the crazy of two kids begins.
Miss Anything?
Eating a full meal in one sitting. He's big enough now that I can only eat about a half a meal at a time (even if I'm super hungry).
Movement:
He's unbelievable with the kicking.
Food cravings:
Carbs.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Not this week.
Gender:
BOY!
Labor Signs:
No.
Belly Button in or out?
In.
Wedding rings on or off?
Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:
Lots of relaxing this week so no anxiety.
Looking forward to:
Getting back into the swing of things this week. Just working out, hanging with my little family, and doing some third trimester hospital stuff on Friday.
In other news, Melanie is being super cute and really connecting with the baby.
She loves jumping up and down and gently bumping her head into my belly. She also kisses and blows raspberries on the bump.
On Friday, she got to ride on the table at my appointment with me (when they lift it up) and “helped” listen for the baby's heartbeat.
She really loved that – it was all Doc McStuffins up in there.
