Me At 37 Weeks

37 weeks, y'all!!!

I've got a doctor's appointment this afternoon (and apparently will have one every Monday from here on out until the baby is born).

We're still trying to check small stuff of the To Do list (I'm looking at you light over my kitchen sink) and last week, the baby dropped!

Me At 37 Weeks

Yep, not all the way down but he's no longer killing my ribs and I can walk so much easier now.

As I did with my first pregnancy, I'm taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin).

San Antonio lifestyle blogger, Cris Stone, shares a rundown of her 37th week of pregnancy. Find out more!

How far along?

37 Weeks.

Total weight gain/loss:

I'm gonna guess that I'm around the 50-55 pound mark? I'll know exactly this afternoon.

Maternity clothes?

Leggings, a cami tank, and a T-shirt. FOREVER.

Stretch marks?

Still no new ones and still using this cream.

Sleep:

Only had insomnia once last week. Getting up to pee 2-3 times a night every night now.

Best moment this week:

Having sweet, sweet relief after the baby dropped down a bit. At first, it freaked me out completely.

It was very sudden and painful – then he stopped moving so much. But I did my fetal kick counts and he was still in the okay range so I only had mild anxiety for a few days.

Now, he's back to kicking regularly but it's less forceful.

Movement:

Moving – thankfully. I was really worried for a few days there but he seems to be back to his normal kicky self.

Food cravings:

Deli trays. All I want to do is snack.

Anything making you queasy or sick:

For the second week in a row, I've been nauseous in morning and then again at bedtime.

Gender:

BOY!

Labor Signs:

No

Belly Button in or out?

In but almost flattened out.

Wedding rings on or off?

Off.

Happy or Moody most of the time:

Anxiety over the baby not kicking as much but I waited it out and it's passed. I was stressed though.

Looking forward to:

Finishing little projects in the kitchen so I can FINALLY organize it how I want (up until now, we just shoved stuff into cabinets to get it out of my way) and doing some freezer meal cooking in preparation for newborn madness.

In other news, almost every day, we've gotten a lovely gift from off our Amazon Baby Registry and it's been so cool to see what people have sent for Baby Boy.

I also cut out the pieces for his quilt but am totally slacking sewing it because I have to lay it out and then sew it to get the rows right – and doing that with a toddler is… no bueno.

Also, I GOT A NEW COMPUTER!!!!

After nearly 5 years, I FINALLY got a new laptop and I'm super busy moving everything from my old one to the new (which is taking forever since the old computer lacks the ability to access good Cloud service and I've misplaced all our zip drives and external drives).

But still! I GOT A NEW COMPUTER!
