Real Weddings: The Centerpieces

Continuing on with our "Real Stuff from Real Weddings" theme…Helen and Peabs's centerpieces. So, so cute and simple and easy peasy. Okay, the picture below isn't great (but better than my pictures – which are nonexistant because God broke my camera during Catholic Mass. Long story). However, you will still be able to get the general cuteness idea.

So basically, Helen's theme was pink, pink, pink, and Gerber daisies. To create the centerpieces, she bought pink pillar candles and used a heat embosser to gently melt a gerber daisy icon into it. Each pillar candle was placed inside a hurricane lamp (some from the reception hall and some borrowed from friends). Then an assortment of pink printed votive candles and pink Gerber daisies in bud vases were placed in a circle around the hurricane lamp. The votives and bud vases doubled as individual favors for the guests.

Simple, easy, and cheap. Perfection.
