Welcome to the Wedding Closet: The Wedding Guest Outfits and Video

Yesterday, I shared a silly blooper reel with y'all of Katie Farrin's (of Lovebird Productions) and my taping of the "Welcome to the Wedding Closet" feature. It was super fun and we hope to make this "finding an outfit for any wedding theme in your closet" thing a regular series.

A Few Things We Discovered:

  • Finding the right outfit for an occassion entirely from your closet is totally possible. If you need a fresh eye, invite a friend over to help you.
  • If you are missing one key component from your own closet then, before shopping, ask a friend if they have one to loan you.
  • Play. You might be surprised with the awesome combinations you come up with.
  • Keep weather in mind and pack a wrap (just in case).
  • Old make-up bags can totally look cute as a wedding clutch.
  • Scarves can easily double as wraps.
  • NO ONE brags about spending a buttload of money on a pair of shoes but EVERYONE brags about the deal they scored.
  • Katie's closet is way, way, WAY nicer than mine. Mine has guns in it.
