No Sew Wedding Veil DIY

Today's post involves creating your own NO SEW wedding veil. It can be done and it can be awesome… and it can be inexpensive.

Texas Wedding Blogger, Kiss My Tulle, shares how to create your own NO SEW wedding veil. It can be done and it can be awesome… and it can be inexpensive.

No Sew Wedding Veil DIY

Step One:

Buy 3 yards of standard tulle (use coupons at local fabric stores for a real steal!) and fold it in half length-wise. Then fold it in half width-wise.

Step Two:

Locate the center of the fabric (it might be helpful to fold it in half width-wise again to find the “center mark”). Use your hand to loosely gather the material together.

Step Three:

Place the gathered material into an opened clip (keep the clip open).

Step Four:

Lay the fabric and the open side of the clip on top of the area where you want the veil (in this case, I did it at front of the head about 5″back from the forehead).

Now, just clip the hair clip to the hair as you normally would but remember to also clip the fabric at the same time (the layer should be: scalp/hair, bottom of clip, hair, fabric, top of clip).

Step Five:

Use scissors to trim the bottom of the veil into the desired shape and also to cut along the folds of the fabric (and make them individual layers).

Flip the top layer over (if desired) and walk the crap out of that aisle!

Sharing is caring!

Could you do a video on this diy for us visual learners? Thank you kindly. But really enjoyed your humorous vernacular.

Once we’re done social distancing, and I have access to another human – I’ll get one up. Thanks for the suggestion.
