Fabulous Pairings for Bridesmaid Dresses and Shoes

Recently someone asked me for advice on finding the “right” type of shoe for her bridesmaids to wear with a specific style of dress. My answer is that there ARE NO RULES and she should let them wear whatever makes them happy and let's them dance all night. However, I do acknowledge that there are a few styles of footwear and dresses that seem to pair up well with each other.
