Six months is when all the magic starts happening, people! Today is not only when Finn hits the six month mark but it is also his dad's 50th birthday! I'm doing this post right after he had his six month well baby check-up (everything looks great) and his latest round of vaccines. Everyone continues to go crazy over his ginger head, blue eyes, and adorable personality. He's gearing up to eat his first solid food (sweet potato) tonight and his dad's excited to be the one to feed it to him. Like I did with Melanie, I'll be doing a little photo project for his first year with monthly photos and a brief rundown of what's happening in his little world (I'm sharing this in a format that I plan on using in a photo book featuring his first year):
You have picked a lovey – it's a stuffed pig from Ikea named Fiona.
You are still refusing to drink from a bottle.
You cut your two front bottom teeth and you're working on the top ones.
You're Army crawling everywhere and can push yourself up on all fours.
You love looking in mirrors and at other babies.
You had you first really bad cold last month and had a hard time breathing.
You can sit up in a highchair and in shopping carts.
You are terrible about sleeping outside of Mommy's arms.
You love “playing” with your sister but fuss when she takes toys away from you.
Mommy's favorite thing is biting your cheeks.
Daddy's favorite thing is blowing “raspberries” at you and having you do it back.
We just love you.
