Well, it's here. I've hit the halfway mark on this pregnancy. I am OH-ficially 20 weeks knocked up. So why not start taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin)?
How far along? 20 Weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: We Shall Not Speak of This.
Maternity clothes? Bitch, please. I live in my Old Navy maxi skirt and tank tops. Though I can still manage some of my regular size Medium T-shirts and cardigans.
Stretch marks? Does it count if I've had them since I was 9?
Sleep: Sleeping great though I'm having issues with hip pain.
Best moment this week: Snuggling in bed with The Boy and having him rub my belly while telling me how excited he is about our baby. My husband does not express his emotions well so this was a lovely little moment for us.
Have you told family and friends: Yes! On Christmas Eve.
Miss Anything? Lunch meat. I love me some turkey sandwiches and miss them very, very much.
Movement: Does farting so hard that my butt ripples count?
Food cravings: Fruit – specifically nectarines, plums, and strawberries + McDonald's french fries.
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of raw meat.
Gender prediction: Boy. I'm convinced that since I've spent the bulk of my life helping raise little girls that God's going to give me a boy. Just to fuck with me.
Labor Signs: No.
Belly Button in or out? In.
Wedding rings on or off? On.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy but I cry at the STUPIDEST commercials. Ugh.
Looking forward to: Finding out the gender in a couple of weeks!
In other news, I'm still plugging away at my pregnancy cardio and strength training plans and I haven't had nausea in weeks (HUZZAH!). Also, The Boy and I hit the San Antonio Rodeo on Monday and, while most of the food was off-limits, we had a good time walking around and looking at stuff. Though we barely spent any time at all in the animal barns because the smells KILLED me.
