Me at 28 Weeks

Holy shit! I made it to the third trimester of this pregnancy! And The Boy is still ALIVE… major snaps to me y'all. Wanna see how this week broke down? Check it out:

Me at 28 Weeks

How far along? 28 Weeks
Total weight gain: Jesus. I've given up on this. I'M FAT!
Maternity clothes? Totally in maternity clothes (and outgrowing a few of those).
Stretch marks? Not yet but I think I can see some forming around my belly button.
Sleep: Slept poorly a few nights this week but I think it was due to anxiety over the Boston Marathon bombings and worrying about friends.
Best moment this week: Officially being in my last trimester!
Miss Anything? Salami – The Boy bought some on a whim for his lunches and I WANT SOME NOOOOW!
Movement: Constant – she's a mover!
Food cravings: Grapes ad cheddar cheese.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Fried chicken.
Gender: Girl.
Labor Signs: No.
Symptoms: Starting to get hip pain again while sleeping and also lots of upper back aches (weirdly, no lower back aches).
Belly Button in or out? In but barely.
Wedding rings on or off? Solidly off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: This was not a great week. The Boston Marathon bombings triggered some serious anxiety issues in addition to scaring the ever lovin' crap out me. The mom of the family I used to nanny for was racing (and the entire family was there cheering her on – including my girls). After the bombing, it took a while to “find” them and realize that they were fine (She had crossed the finish line 10 minutes before the bombs went off and the entire family was safely out of the bombs impact by then.). I did struggle later when I found out that friends of a friend were victims with traumatic injuries and I just couldn't help them cope. All in all, a CRAP week emotionally.
Looking forward to: Hitting some killer community garage sales this week with The Boy and buying cute baby stuff for cheap!
