How to Save Money on Portable Toilets for Your At Home Wedding

For a wedding at your own home, the cost of having portable toilets available for guests may be worth it. You won't have to worry about plumbing issues, lines in your hallway, or cleaning up before and after. Just have someone else bring them to your home, pick them up after, and they get to clean them! Sound great? Well, then here's a few tips on how to save money on portable toilets for your at home wedding:

  • Look for a company that offers a package that includes the toilet paper, toilet seat covers, paper towels, and hand soap (for the hand wash station).
  • Be sure that your contract doesn't include any extra fees like: a fuel surcharge, “environmental fees”, or other hidden fees.
  • Work with the company to understand exactly how many portable toilets your wedding will need. Know your guest list, the length of the wedding, and how many other toilets are on site for use. These will determine the final number of toilets.
  • Be careful not give in to the temptaion to save money by renting too few toilets – the trade off might be toilets that quickly become too full to use before the end of your wedding.
  • Choosing a local company to provide (and service) your portable toilets could save you the added expense of transporting the rentals from a location further away.
