This is my third trimester and I'm at 33 weeks today.
I hit a pretty hardcore uncomfortable/lazy wall this past week but still managed to get off my ass and do some stuff around the house.
Me At 33 Weeks
Lots of cleaning, sorting, and donating.
As I did with my first pregnancy, I'm taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin).
How far along?
33 Weeks.
Total weight gain/loss:
Still around 50 pounds but, thanks to trying to work out regularly a few times a week, that 50 pounds looks better than the 50 pounds I gained last time around.
Maternity clothes?
These leggings are my life.
I'm also hoping to pick up a few of these cute tanks to wear during this last trimester (over a cami tank) and after the baby's born (over a nursing tank).
Stretch marks?
I think I'm still looking at mostly old ones. But I'm still using this cream at least twice a day.
Sleep:
Still having pockets of insomnia where I wake up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night and cannot go back to sleep but, all in all, sleeping well.
Seriously LOOOOOVE my mattress! No hip pain, back pain, or extra support/pillows needed.
Best moment this week:
Sitting with Melanie on my lap at the park and watching her react to her brother kicking her! I told her that it was because he wanted some of the Popsicle she was eating.
Movement:
Kicking. Kicking. ALL OF THE KICKING.
Food cravings:
Berries… which have, unfortunately, caused my mouth to break out in fever blisters.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Nope.
Gender:
BOY!
Labor Signs:
No.
Belly Button in or out?
In but nearly flattened out.
Wedding rings on or off?
Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:
Some anxiety. My 32 week appointment was canceled at the last minute and now they can't see me until I'm nearly 36 weeks.
Which is frustrating because this far along in the third trimester, anything can happen and be an issue and it's freaking me out.
Looking forward to:
Buying the baby's special hospital bag and a diaper pouch. Splurges for us but I did the same for his sister and loved them both so much that I'm doing it again.
In other news, we are FINALLY closing on our house refinance this week… after FOUR FREAKING MONTHS.
But, at least that will then allow us to start the home equity loan process – which we desperately need to add a small living room addition and third bedroom to our house.
Fingers crossed that process goes smoother than the refi (which was so ridiculous it was almost farcical).
