As many of you know, I had terrible hip pain during my first pregnancy and nothing helped. People suggested all kinds of pillows and speical support things but really, none of it helped and I was just in pain all the time. Right before I got pregnant this time, we invested in a great new Tuft & Needle mattress and guess what? I haven’t had a second of hip pain at all this time around. Which leads me to believe that the secret to how to sleep comfortably while pregnant without special pillows is all in the mattress!
Help Me Choose An Awesome RockABye Rocker For The Joint Nursery
As so many of you know, I’ve been using this last month of my second pregnancy to plan and decorate a joint nursery for Melanie and Baby Boy. We’ve gotten a few big items crossed off the list: picked up a Big Girl Bed for Melanie, bought all the bedding for both kids, and snagged a gorgeous nightstand for next to the rocker. And now, I can start picking out the really fun little bits! Like these made-in-the-USA rockers from RockABye – I mean, REALLY, how cute are they?!?! So cute, that I’m having a hard time choosing the one (or ones) to keep in the room so today, I’m asking you to help me choose an awesome RockABye rocker for the joint nursery!

7 Days in Rio : The Perfect Pieces for a Versatile Honeymoon Wardrobe
One of the hardest parts about planning the honeymoon can be figuring out what the hell you’re going to pack! Often, you’ve never been to the location that you’ll be ‘mooning at and it can be tempting to over plan and over pack. Don’t do it! Save your money and save your sanity by pre-planning your wardrobe and packing a few versatile pieces (thus, saving precious space for shopping!). Here’s my tips and suggestions on packing for 7 days in Rio:
The Joint Nursery Design For Our Toddler Girl and Baby Boy
Whee! It’s that time. That time when I finally, FINALLY get to design and decorate an actual nursery for my babies. Remember how awful the room we were going to use as a nursery for Melanie was so I only got to dream about decorating it? Well, a billion years later and it’s still pretty sucky but at least it has hardwood floors and isn’t being used as storage. We have to wait a few months to put up the drywall and finishes (the room’s layout is being slightly altered by the new addition so it’s pointless to do any of that right now) but, in the meantime, I can still do a lot of decorating in there. I’m going to work with the room’s paneling which was painted white before I moved in and will need to keep the current full sized bed in there until after my mom leaves (she’ll be here a few weeks when the baby’s born). But, I’m going right ahead and sharing the joint nursery design for our toddler girl and baby boy anyway!
