Me At 36 Weeks

I'm 36 weeks today and everything is headed in the right direction!

We had a great appointment on Friday, threw Melanie a birthday party on Saturday, and picked (and put together) her Big Girl Bed yesterday.

Me At 36 Weeks

I'm completely exhausted and my back is killing me but, we're getting SO MANY things checked off my OMGI'MNESTING To Do List.

As I did with my first pregnancy, I'm taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin).

San Antonio lifestyle blogger, Cris Stone, shares a rundown of her 36th week of pregnancy. Find out more!

How far along?

36 Weeks.

Total weight gain/loss:

As of Friday I was at 47 pounds gained. Much less than last time (but still way over – OOPS).

Maternity clothes?

These leggings, a cami tank, and a T-shirt ALL THE TIME.

Stretch marks?

Using this cream and no new ones though a few of my old ones seem to be getting redder.

Sleep:

Still experiencing insomnia a few times a week.

Best moment this week:

Melanie's “Avengers” birthday party! It was really easy and relaxed and fun. She LOVED it.

Movement:

Moving so much that he kicks books and my tablet off my belly when I'm on the couch.

Food cravings:

Watermelon. Both Melanie and I have been chowing down on it daily.

Anything making you queasy or sick:

Weirdly, I've been nauseous in morning and then again at bedtime. I have no idea why.

Gender:

BOY!

Labor Signs:

No but almost flattened out.

Belly Button in or out?

In but almost flattened out.

Wedding rings on or off?

Off.

Happy or Moody most of the time:

Almost no anxiety this week.

I did have a few stressful moments because our unexpectedly trip to Dallas last weekend ended up making A LOT more work for me this week but, all in all, I did well managing.

Looking forward to:

Continuing to decorate the kid's room (and prepping it for when me mom gets here as she and Melanie will be sharing it during her stay).

Completing a couple of small projects in the kitchen so I can finally organize it and the pantry the way I want.

In other news, remember how I set up a Amazon Baby Registry because people were asking me to?

Well, I had to add a few things to it because those same wonderful people bought nearly everything on it! The gifts are showing up and I'm washing and organizing them as soon as they do.

I also started packing my hospital bag (some items will be tossed in as we're walking out the door) and I'm picking up a few little items here and there as special gifts for Melanie after the baby arrives.
