Buy Diapers. Give Diapers.

In America, one-in-three families struggle to provide diapers for their baby. That makes my heart hurt. See, when Melanie was born, we were poor. Like, P O O R poor. We had such a hard time keeping her in diapers and buying even the most basic of baby needs. So parents struggling to diaper their babies? That SO hits home for me. I have been there.

That's why I'm delighted to partner with Huggies® and share the great news. You can help diaper a baby in need when you buy Huggies Diapers or Wipes at Walgreens (or online at Walgreens.com). From March 26 through April 29, any purchase of Huggies® diapers at Walgreens or Walgreens.com triggers a donation of a day’s worth of diapers to a family in need. With your help, Huggies and Walgreens will donate 1.5 million diapers and 250,000 wipes nationwide to the National Diaper Bank Network.

We're so much better off now and can easily afford to diaper and cloth our second baby but I still vividly remember those days of trying to make our diaper stash last as long as possible. It's such a hard spot to be in as a parent. You try your best every day to provide for your baby and make a great life for them but, sometimes, that's just not enough. I feel like the least I can do as a fellow parent is to try and help others struggling to do their best during difficult times.

I know what it was like and the incredible stress that hung over us every single day worrying about it. It's just such an overwhelming stop to be in and I 100% empathize with those going through it right now. So I'm proud to be helping Huggies® and Walgreens donate a day's worth of diapers or wipes to the National Diaper Bank Network. All I have to do is ONE pack of Huggies® diapers or wipes at ANY Walgreens and someone, somewhere will be able to diaper their baby for a whole day. One pack of diapers or wipes = one day of diapers or wipes? That's just a win/in situation all the way around.

I am partnering with Baby Dove. In the summer, we really love to drive down to the coast. All that sand and sea salt can really make a mess so I always toss some Baby Dove products in our bags to handle clean up while on the road.
