Parenting Hack: Have Echo Dot Kids Edition Read Your Kids A Book

[su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF”]// This post was sponsored by Amazon as part of an Ambassador Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. //[/su_note]

Be honest. Do your kids ask you to read to them roughly eighty bazillion times a day? I mean, I really love how much my kids appreciate books and reading and all that great developmental crap.

But OH MY GOD with the endless reading the same books over and over and over.

I do adore cuddling with them a few times a day and reading a book we love. I do all the voices, they “help” me turn the pages, we all make some wonderful memories.

But those memories can kiss the very fattest part of my fat butt once they ask me to read their current favorite book for the fifth time in a row. WE GET IT, KID. YOU LOVE THE BOOK.

So, fellow exhausted parents of the world, allow me to share my very best parenting hack – have Echo Dot Kids Edition read your kids a book!

Parenting Hack: Have Echo Dot Kids Edition Read Your Kids A Book

All jokes aside, I am actually so grateful for modern technology like the Echo Dot Kids Edition and skills that allow Melanie and Finn to get the most from their reading experiences.

I mean, nothing can replace one-on-one reading time with Mommy and Daddy but Amazon wants to go beyond that to supplement your child's development and skills.

Using different skills, your kid can have a story read to them, ask questions about science, math, spelling, definitions, or any other topic that sparks their curiosity.

Right now, Melanie is super into space and animals and I'm so grateful for that she can ask her Echo Dot Kids Edition and National Geographic will answer her with far more accurate information that I could give her.

The coolest part? Parents can expect Alexa to continue to get smarter and add new information every day.

FYI, last night Melanie asked what cats say and we all learned that cats don't meow to other adult cats. They only use it to communicate with kittens, other animals, and humans. Cool, right?

And right now, I'm giving y'all the chance to win ONE of ten Echo Dot Kids Edition so you, too, can enjoy my slacker parenting hack! Valid March 13, 2019 – April 3, 2019. Enter below!
