I'm getting closer and closer to the end of my second trimester – as of right now, I'm at 26 weeks in my second pregnancy!
Me At 26 Weeks
As I did with my first pregnancy, I'm taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin).
How far along?
26 Weeks.
Total weight gain/loss:
30-ish. I forgot to weigh myself this morning.
Maternity clothes?
I start every day wearing these Old Navy tank tops and maternity workout pants and then switch to whatever for the evening. I picked up these shorts at Target and they are super cute and comfy.
Stretch marks?
Yes.
Sleep:
Sleeping great and it's all thanks to my AMAZING mattress (straight up NOT an exaggeration).
Best moment this week:
Honestly, this week kinda sucked. But any time I feel him move or Melanie interacts with “baby brother” – it's the best.
Miss Anything?
Salami, turkey, dried sausage.
Movement:
He's officially a mover and hates when I sit with my feet up or crossed.
Food cravings:
So many tomatoes.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Like last week, I've woken up nauseous a couple of days this week – totally random and weird.
Gender:
BOY!
Labor Signs:
No.
Belly Button in or out?
In.
Wedding rings on or off?
Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy but anxious because we've got a lot happening in the next few months and so much to try and get done before this little guy arrives.
Looking forward to:
Signing the closing on our home re-fi so we can start the equity loan process and enlarge our home.
In other news, this wasn't the greatest week.
No less than three people didn't know I was pregnant (So, essentially, they just thought I was morbidly obese… which, I mean, I'm definitely overweight but COME ON.
I totally look pregnant.) – in fact, one person made jokes about it behind my back to a group of people and they all laughed.
So that was awesome.
Then, the garage sale that I literally look forward to every year was a big, huge BUST and I got exactly NOTHING for my son (which I had really, really counted on budget-wise).
Then, to top it all off, a little boy THREW A ROCK AT ME (and his parents did not care AT ALL). So, last week can suck it. HARD.
