Alternative Wedding Vows or Readings: Stephen King Edition

Let me tell you, one of the hardest things about planning my own wedding was trying to write the wedding ceremony. I was not a fan of the traditional vows (I obey no one but myself thankyouverymuch) and really wanted to find something that reflected our concept of what we wanted our relationship to be. If you’re in the same boat but looking for alternative vows with a more creepy/scary lean – well, here ya go! Some wedding vows – Stephen King style!

No one EVER gets all the RSVPs back (in fact, if you’re lucky, you’ll get 30% back – maybe) and it’s frustrating. But more frustrating is when you DO get them back and people haven’t filled them in properly. So, as a public service announcement for the wedding guests, here’s how to fill out an RSVP:

Alternative Wedding Vows or Readings: Robin Williams Edition

Let me tell you, one of the hardest things about planning my own wedding was trying to write the wedding ceremony. I was not a fan of the traditional vows (I obey no one but myself thankyouverymuch) and really wanted to find something that reflected our concept of what we wanted our relationship to be. If you’re in the same boat and looking for alternative vows here’s a few from the amazing and truly missed Robin Williams. As a child of the 80’s, I loved him and felt like I knew him. How sweet a memorial would it be to use a few of his best movie lines and quotes about love in your wedding ceremony?

Fitness Friday: My Dog, the Personal Trainer By Ariella Monti

Bailey is my 1-year-old Lab mix. She’s an awesome dog, but like most Labs, she high-energy and needs a ton of exercise or she’ll tear my house to shreds. It’s because of her that I’ve been heading out at least four times a week to go for at least a one-mile walk. It’s because of her that I’ve been able to lose any weight at all. Sufficient exercise not only keeps you in shape, but keeps your dog lean too. It will keep you both healthy for the long haul and your dog will have less behavioral problems.

If you’re in the same boat and looking for alternative vows here’s a few with a more literary lean from the late Maya Angelou.
