The Slacker Mom’s Guide To Getting Your House Company Clean in 20 Minutes

I am a slacker mom. No, no. Let me clarify that. I am THE Slacker Mom – the Patron Saint of Slacker Moms, if you will. I am beyond lazy. Look I adore my family and I’m grateful to be able to work from home but I am definitely NOT the kind of mom who plans elaborate parties to celebrate half-birthdays or creates a learning center in the corner or my beautifully landscaped yard for the neighborhood kids. Frankly, you’ll be lucky if you come to my house before 5PM and find me with my teeth brushed. So, keeping my house “company clean” at all times is… not gonna happen (I salute those of you who do though!). So, I’ve spent the last few years finding products that can quickly and effectively make my house shine. And with the help of Costco, Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, Dawn Platinum Advanced Power, and Cascade Complete Action Pacs, I’ve perfected what I like to call, “The Slacker Mom’s Guide To Getting Your House Company Clean in 20 Minutes”.

Spice Up Your Relationship With a Few Fun Options from LELO

Hey, guess what? Today is mine and The Boy’s fourth anniversary! From our first date in Alaska, to our 5k wedding in Texas, to the birth of our daughter, to this newest baby – we’ve come a long way. All in all, we’ve been together for 10 years. We’ve never been shy about how much we like each other and how much we enjoy each other physically. We’ve always been very open and able to communicate what we do and don’t like between the sheets and we’ve never been shy about trying out new things. I believe that a couple’s ability to communicate openly about sex is extremely important and there’s no shame in wanting to spice things up. From the beginning of our relationship, we’ve experimented with fun toys and had a great time. But you know what? Those toys were always so… utilitarian and ugly looking that they made me feel a little unsexy when we’d play with them. So, imagine my excitement, when I discovered a resource for chic and modern looking marital aids that were also SO, SO fantastic (OMG. SO FANTASTIC!)! The products from LELO are well-designed, sleek-looking, and just WORK. So, check out my ideas on how to spice up your relationship with a few fun options from LELO:

I know that many of you, like me, often need a little (okay, A LOTTA) push sometimes to work out. Because seriously, it does not matter how regularly I work out – I hate it every time. I have discovered though, that I am one of those people and I can bribe myself into gettin’ after it if I have something fun or cute to wear. Sound familiar? 5 Reasons a Stroller Is A Must When You Travel with Babies or Toddlers

When I was pregnant with my first child, I wasn’t 100% sure if I needed a stroller or not. Honestly, I was leaning toward not since our house and car is very small (no storage for a large stroller even if it was collapsible), we live in a rural neighborhood with no sidewalks or trails for walking, and everywhere we go has shopping baskets. A stroller really felt like an extra that we didn’t need. Then, I started thinking. We knew that we’d be traveling a lot in the first few years of her life and that involved long, multi-leg plane rides… and that meant we really should invest in a stroller to make it through airport terminals. And you know what? I am SO GLAD we made that decision! Trying to travel or vacation with a baby or a toddler (though little buggers can RUN) without a stroller is like trying to make a hole in a brick wall using just your head – it’s really, really hard and you’re making things more difficult than they need to be. Don’t believe me? Here’s my 5 reasons a stroller is a must when you travel with babies or toddlers!

Amazing Beauty and Health Options for Women, Men, and Children from FOREO

So, I’m not much of a beauty person. I’m super low-key about the make-up I use and often go days and days without wearing any. However, one reason I can do that and not feel like a total uggo is because long ago, I learned the importance of excellent skin and dental care. If your skin and teeth are healthy and glowing – you really can feel confident in any situation – with or without make-up. So, naturally, I’m always on the lookout for awesome tools that I can invest in to help me keep my skin and teeth at their best. And I’m SO, SO excited to say… I found something AWESOME for those of you in the same boat! In January, I was able to preview (and play with) several products from the FOREO skin and dental lines and, OMG – they’re not only fantastic tools, they’re so chic and modern looking! So check out my rundown of the amazing beauty and health options for women, men, and children from FOREO:

My Second Trimester Must Haves

I’m solidly into my second trimester with this, my second pregnancy, and I’ve definitely been relying on several items to make this time easier/more enjoyable. My post-first pregnancy belly flap has taken on the form of an actual baby bump so I’m looking less like a super fat lady with a beer gut and more like a super fat pregnant lady. I’m feeling much better that I was during my first trimester and have been really enjoying the idea of a having a baby boy! Here’s a rundown of my second trimester must haves:

How to Survive the Boredom of Breastfeeding

Let me let y’all in on a secret. Breastfeeding is boring. Like, BORING. Watching paint dry might be more exciting. Listening to a member of the Tea Party is more interesting. Seriously, B to the O to the R-ING. Boring….
