But alas, if you want a wedding on a budget – it does take work and work means… well, working. But have no fear, fellow lazy bitches! I've rounded up my best tips and ideas for finding the booze for the wedding reception on a budget (and not breaking a sweat).
All hail the lazy bitches! We're the ones who would rather pin pretty stuff on Pinterest than actually get off our asses and DIY them. We're the ones who opt to let our partner plan the entire honeymoon because it allows us to spend that time cleaning out our DVR. Yes, we are alive and well in the wedding community – though we're enjoying said community reclining on our collective bums.

The Lazy Bitch's Guide to Finding the Wedding Booze on a Budget
1. Right off the bat, forget asking your venue to host a full bar – they are too expensive for us and require too many bartenders. Instead, ask the venue to provide only their most popular requests and move on. Bing, bang, done.
2. Limit the menu at your DIY wedding, too. Not only will this save the time and hassle of arranging for a plethora of choices but it will also save you quite a lot of money. Go with a single beer, a red wine, a white wine, and a signature drink – and then move on to focusing on something else. Easy peasy, pumpkin squeezy!
3. Know what beverages you want already? Cruise your local big box or warehouse stores for a solid deal. You can use this drink calculator to figure out how many bottles you'll need, stock up, and check out.
4. Try looking for bartenders or servers on Craigslist. Cruise the gigs section or do a posting yourself with all the information (where, when, how many, experience needed, and pay) and wait for the emails. Many reputable people get side jobs off CL but be sure to follow up and check their references.
5. Delegate. Seriously, if you know what drinks you want – why not have a friend or family member track down the best deals for you? This is a task to palm off to someone dying to help… then just show up to get drunk happy.
