I'm at 32 weeks in my third trimester and, after a few really bad nights of sleep last week, I think that I'm doing better.
I've managed to sleep a little better and started nesting HARD. My back pain's been better, too. All in all, I'm doing fine.
Me At 32 Weeks
As I did with my first pregnancy, I'm taking photos and doing a cute week-by-week FYI session from here on out (ala Little Baby Garvin).
How far along?
32 Weeks.
Total weight gain/loss:
Still completely forgetting to weight myself but I'm guessing that I'm around 50 pounds gained (keeping in mind that I started out about 50 pounds overweight). Not good but still not as bad as last time.
Maternity clothes?
I'm still deeply in love with these leggings and plan to buy at least one more pair because SO COMFY.
Stretch marks?
Yep. Think I'm still looking at mostly old ones though.
Sleep:
Sleep was a nightmare last week (lots of really bad insomnia) but I have slept well that last couple of nights so here's to hoping for a few more.
Best moment this week:
Getting some sweet baby outfits (and a few new clothes for Melanie) from some good friends.
Movement:
He just won't stop kicking.
Food cravings:
ICE CREAM. I want it all in my face right now.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
Nothing this week.
Gender:
BOY!
Labor Signs:
No.
Belly Button in or out?
In but almost flattened out.
Wedding rings on or off?
Off.
Happy or Moody most of the time:
Some anxiety (stupid USAA is dragging their feet with our house refi).
Looking forward to:
Planning the joint nursery design for Melanie and Baby Boy.
In other news, I started nesting HARD this week and managed to motivate my husband to sort through and organize a shit ton of stuff.
We ended up donating a huge truckload of furniture and household goods to Goodwill.
We also moved our bed back to the spot where it's supposed to be (after moving it 3 years ago to lay the flooring in our room the week before Melanie was born).
We're also switching dressers with Melanie since she and the baby currently have no closet or other storage in their room.
I'm hoping to stay motivated because we need to keep working on this house.
