So, Melanie finally started going to movies this summer (it took us awhile since she was too energetic and loud to sit in a quiet theater for several hours).
One movie that was a must see for both of us was “Toy Story 4“!
I have watched each of the other movies during their original releases and wasn't going to miss this one!
And, it was Melanie's first time experiencing any of the franchises movies on the big screen.
Easy Toy Story 4 Forky Snack
She, like many people, was completely enamored with the Forky character.
She went home and drew him and created images of him for the rest of the summer.
Once school started, I wanted to keep her love of Forky alive and slip a little something fun into her lunch box.
But, because I'm the laziest mom ever, I needed it to be simple and easy.
Hence, the creation of this easy “Toy Story 4” Forky snack! So cute! So fun! So easy!
Here's How I DIYed It!
- Wrap pipe cleaners around pudding cups and use to create "arms".
- Add mismatched googly eyes.
- Use red Sharpie to create "eyebrow".
- Use blue Sharpie to create "mouth".
I'm thinking it would also be a super cute snack for a family movie night.

The artwork on this is so unique!
Melanie loved pointing out all the different characters and telling me some of their funniest lines from the movie.
She may or may not have been inspired to show me a few of Duke Caboom's moves, too.
Her brother's trike may never be the same…
