I don't know who needs to hear this but… THANKSGIVING IS COMING.
Whee! It's my favorite time of year – I freaking LOVE Thanksgiving.
The food, the family, the friends, the football… it's all awesome.

On November first, you will find me busting out my festive red wreath for my front door, decorating my windows with gold and fall colored garlands, and starting to plan The Big Meal.
Free Thanksgiving Coloring Pages
And now that my kids are older, not only are they helping me cook and prep for Thanksgiving dinner – they're also able to do fun crafts!
Like these cute as hell free Thanksgiving coloring pages.
So, So Cute!
Aren't they adorable?
Melanie is able to write her thoughts out in such a creative way on her own so this is a great project for her.
I love talking about gratitude with her and hearing her tell me what things she's grateful for.
Wanna know a few?
What Melanie Is Grateful For:
Daddy
Always at the top of the list.
Coding
She was in a Girls Who Code club last year and is, frankly, addicted.
Her Tablet
Same, girl. Same.
Books
We're a reading family so this one always makes me smile.
Horse
She has been in equine therapy for a year now and is having the time of her life. She has set herself a goal to practice her rein work so she can learn to trot.
And Finn?
Finn is still working on handwriting but can talk to me about what he's grateful for and then we draw the pictures together.
I mean, he's seven and has L2 autism so that's not a huge surprise but I'm so proud of him for being able to talk with me about it and focus long enough to get a few ideas down.
Here's a few things he expressed gratitude for:
What Finn Is Grateful For:
Melanie
His favorite person in the whole world. He considers her his best friend. Her? Not so much.
His Tablet
It's a theme with everyone in our household.
Strawberries
100% Finn's favorite food ever.
Mommy
Kid is pretty into me.
Into the Spiderverse
Both movies - ADORES them. Loves, loves, loves Spiderman. All of them.
