Planning Melanie’s First Easter

[su_note note_color=”#FFFFFF”]// This is an old post from a now defunct blog. It's still got good stuff and may include affiliate links. //[/su_note]

When I found out that I was having a baby girl, one of the first things that I got all excited about was being able to buy her an Easter dress every year. I know, it's a silly thing but when I was a girl, we didn't get new stuff outside of holidays so getting a new dress for Easter was a big deal. Then I realized that I was also going to be able to help the Easter Bunny do an Easter basket for her! Whee! Here's what I've got planned:

Planning Melanie's First #Easter. Do you have any cute, affordable ideas for your Easter baskets or eggs? #baby
Easter Dress //Floral Headband // Cute Basket with Liner // Book // Bunny Ears //Pacifiers // Hide N Squeak Eggs // Sippy Cup //Bibs // Baby “Shoe” Tights

We're also hoping that my best friend and her crew (including Melanie's bestie, baby Sebastian) will be coming for Easter and yes, you bet your ASS I'll be doing an Easter egg hunt for those babies. It'll be just a few eggs but I want to see those bastards crawl! Right now, I'm thinking I'll fill them with pacifiers, bibs, and maybe some dried fruit strips. But I'm up for better ideas (the babies will be nine and 6 months then and are exclusively breastfed and starting solids).

Do you have any cute, affordable ideas for your Easter baskets or eggs?
