This Christmas is going to be so cool. Santa is coming and it's magical! I have a four-year-old this year who finally gets Santa and Christmas. She knows that Santa lives in the North Pole and it just so happens that we'll be in Alaska for Christmas this year… right down the road from North Pole, Alaska! She's completely excited to meet Santa there and I'm excited to use a service like the Portable North Pole to heighten her excitement and anticipation. After you pick the video or call that you're interested in, you get to personalize it. There are tons of options and you can even upload pictures! I plugged in Melanie's name (you'll have a chance to record the proper pronunciation, if that's an issue), gender, and birthday. Then, I went on to personalize her video with a picture of our house, our cats, the gift that Santa is bringing her, and so many more little details.
As you can see – the PNP video was. a. hit! It's six minutes long and my super active, can-never-sit-still-for-a-moment daughter was completely riveted the whole time. I'm so excited that I can make these videos and phone calls from the comfort of my home and allow her all the time she needs to “talk” to Santa and his elves. Y'all, it's magical watching Melanie nod and talk to the video (I think she honestly believes that's Santa in there and he's talking right to her – it's amazing!) and Finn is adorable, too. He babbles right along and smiles when he hears names that he knows.
As Christmas gets closer, more and more special videos and photos will become available for you to personalize for your kids.
