DIY Faux Leather Triangle Earrings Featuring Cricut
Are you a big fan of “Fixer Upper”? Me, too. And it’s not just the houses and liberal use of shiplap that make me smile. More often than not, I find myself checking out Joanna’s relaxed chic personal style. In particular, I love it when she wearing leather earrings. I think they are so cool and understated. So, I decided to make some for myself with my Cricut Explore Air (but using faux leather) and embrace my inner Joanna. Check out these faux leather triangle earrings (featuring Cricut)!
“Merry Everything” Graphic T-shirt and Onesie Featuring Cricut
Every other year, my little family and I spend the Christmas holidays in Texas with The Boy’s family. Those years are super fun because we’re not stressing about travel and my mother-in-law throws one FABULOUS Christmas Eve party. Tons of people show up and there’s always lots of food, music, and talking. The dress code is nice but casual so this year, I thought I’d toss the littles in some cute jeans and make adorable graphic tops for them with my Cricut Explore Air. Check out this “Merry Everything” graphic T-shirt and onesie (featuring Cricut)!

How To Style A Rustic Farmhouse Entryway
As many of you know, my husband and I have been remodeling and renovating our little home for YEARS. We’re doing all the work ourselves (with a little help from friends and family whenever possible – i.e. not hiring anyone) and on a tighter-than-tight budget. We are remodeling room-by-room and recently, we tackled the bones of the newly built entryway. This is a tiny addition (that includes a small half bath and a nicely sized front porch) that was constructed right before our wedding. We knew that we wanted the entryway to function as a mudroom with lots of storage while introducing people to the clean-lined, homespun style that we had designed for the rest of the house. Most of that feel would come through in the bones of the room and I learned a lot about how to style a rustic farmhouse entryway as we went along. Read on and I’ll share what I learned with you!
DIY: Turn a Regular Scarf into an Infinity Scarf
A few Christmases ago, my little sister gifted me a wonderfully chunky knit scarf with super cute pom poms on the end. I wore the scarf endlessly… until I had my daughter. Then, the adorable pom poms started being used as teething toys and a little person frequently tried to strangle me with my own accessory. So, this winter, I decided to make a small change that would allow me to continue wearing my favorite scarf – with fearing for my welfare. So, here’s how to turn a regular scarf into an infinity scarf (in only a few steps!):A few Christmases ago, my little sister gifted me a wonderfully chunky knit scarf with super cute pom poms on the end.
