For several years now, I've been trying to become a healthier and fitter person. Sometimes, I've succeeded… many times, I've failed. Because of my high and low history, I am always looking for ways to make better health and fitness choices. And, lately, the best way for me to eat right and regularly exercise is to ditch the gym and do everything at home. Sure, it's tricky when you work from home, have a toddler, AND you're pregnant again. However, I've discovered that if I can remove the need to have a set time and vehicle to hit a gym, then I end up actually working out MORE. In the same situation? Here are 5 great at home fitness and health solutions:

Grokker.com: I just started doing these video downloads last week and I'm TOTALLY hooked. There's a wide selection of strength training (both body weight and with free weights), cardio, HIIT workouts, yoga, and even prenatal routines. The videos are well done and easy to follow (you can pause them if, say, your toddler decides to use you as a jungle gym while you're doing pike push-ups) and I liked that they came in three different fitness levels (beginner, intermediate, and advanced). I am partial to the quickie 7-15 minute workouts but there are plenty of longer ones on there. I like to set up the videos on my tablet so I can workout and watch "Parks and Recreation" reruns at the same time (Hey! It's MULTITASKING.).

Hello Fresh: I just started this meals at home program this week and am LOVIIN' it! I signed up for the 3 meals for 2 people weekly subscription and it works perfectly for my little family. My husband works 4 10's and we tend to eat out on his 3 off days so having the UPS guy (I'm not being gender-biased – my UPS person is literally a guy) drop off 3 ready to cook meals once a week is THE BEST. I love that literally everything (except salt and pepper) is pre-measured and included in the box. And the meals? TASTY. Even better? There's an ingredient list with the recipes so you can easily recreate your favorites on your own later (Dear citrus couscous and blood orange salad, We shall meet again!).

Moving Comfort Bras: I'm a big boob girl (more so now that I've bred and fed a kid) and have never been able to find a really good bra that kept the ladies strapped down while also allowing me to breath. In fact, that's a big reason that it took me so long to start working out was that, well, it really hurt! A fellow top heavy friend turned me on to Moving Comfort bras several years ago and it's AMAZING the difference they have made. Available in sizes up to DD/E, with lots of color options, and styles - Moving Comfort bras are super comfy AND hold the girls in place. I also love that several styles come with Velcro straps so nursing moms can wear them, too!

My Fitness Pal: One of the BEST apps I have ever downloaded (and it's FREE!). Seriously. I struggle HARD with eating right and understanding exactly how many calories I am putting in my mouth. I am always hungry and needed some serious help with understanding and controlling exactly how many calories I was consuming each day. Because this program is accessible via a website and apps on all your devices, it's easy to keep track of each and every bit of food you eat (and how many calories you burned up through exercise). Love it!

Adjustable Dumbbells: Like so many people, I live in a teeny tiny home with zero storage or extra room to set up an at home gym. So every bit of fitness equipment in my house needs to work double duty and take up as little space as possible. My adjustable dumbbells are stashed on the lower shelf of an end table in the living room and have been a great investment! With slide of a knob, I can work out with 5 lbs or 20 lbs. Easy peasy!
