I know that many of you, like me, often need a little (okay, A LOTTA) push sometimes to work out. Because seriously, it does not matter how regularly I work out – I hate it every time. I mean, I feel great after and I’m always really proud of myself for doing it but… I T S U C K S. I have discovered though, that I am one of those people and I can bribe myself into gettin’ after it if I have something fun or cute to wear. Sound familiar? I’m solidly into my second trimester with this, my second pregnancy, and I’ve definitely been relying on several items to make this time easier/more enjoyable. My post-first pregnancy belly flap has taken on the form of an actual baby bump so I’m looking less like a super fat lady with a beer gut and more like a super fat pregnant lady. Here are 5 great at home fitness and health solutions:
Bailey is my 1-year-old Lab mix. She’s an awesome dog, but like most Labs, she high-energy and needs a ton of exercise or she’ll tear my house to shreds. It’s because of her that I’ve been heading out at least four times a week to go for at least a one-mile walk. It’s because of her that I’ve been able to lose any weight at all. Sufficient exercise not only keeps you in shape, but keeps your dog lean too. It will keep you both healthy for the long haul and your dog will have less behavioral problems.
