Why Have a Wedding?
Getting married doesn’t have anything to do with having a wedding. The actual act of getting married is pretty basic and simple (see how to get married in your state here) and requires a little paperwork and no fanfare. But having a wedding? ANYONE can have a wedding (The Boy and I had two!). Which begs the question – why have a wedding? Well, I can only speak for myself but I loved having a wedding since it was an excuse to gather up friends and family I rarely see and have a great party.
