I'm going to keep today's Fitness Friday post short and sweet because, truly, photos say so much more that words ever could. When i started this whole weight loss journey, my intent was to teach myself how to become healthier, feel better about my self-image, and stop breathing hard when I bent over to tie my shoes. And look how far I've come:

Those photos, from my best friend and matron-of-honor's, wedding were the kick in the ass that I needed three years ago to start my weight loss journey. At that time, I was 5'5", nearly 200 pounds, and the only that fit me were yoga pants and The Boy's T-shirts. I wore flip flops because my feet had grown too large for all my shoes.
I am very proud to say that by educating myself on weight loss and physical activity and through the support of Team Tulle, on my wedding day in May of 2012 – I was 5'5", 132 pounds, and my Wedding Dress Project wedding gown went on easily and zipped right up without any help.

Thank you. Thank you to everyone who has been following my journey from that very first post and through my father's passing and that time I did that crazy 7 Day Diet with other members of Team Tulle. I am not fucking around – I could NEVER have done this without everyone's support, tips, and suggestions.
And now that my wedding has passed (and I gained a few pounds on my honeymoon) I'll need all the support I can get to stay on this weight loss journey and not binge on chips. So! Bug me on Twitter, Facebook, check out my Fitness board on Pinterest, and be my friend on My Fitness Pal (I’m akbuilt – invite me to be your friend and I’ll add you to my group!). I'm going to continue sharing my weight loss and fitness journey with y'all on a regular basis but I am going to downshift from posting Fitness Fridays twice a month to once a month. See you in a few weeks!
