I'm baaaack! I'm gonna jump right into this post since I'm a workin' woman now (with one of them there "real" jobs!) and, frankly, don't have much to tell you on the fitness front (Missed a Fitness Friday? Check out all the posts under the Health and Fitness category).

So, when last we met, I had hit another plateau and consulted with Hot Patick about how to overcome it. He told me that I needed to stop placing the emphasis of my goals and choices on losing weight and start making new fitness and nutrition goals that would improve my life and make me proud of myself. So… I haven't weighed or measured myself once in the last month and I think I'm doing fine. I can tell that with the new job, new routine, and stress – I've definitely lost muscle ad maybe gained a bit but honestly? My pants still fit just fine and I'm actually starting to wear smaller shirts. So, something's working.

I'm managing about 3-4 strength training workouts a week and around 2-3 cardio workouts (usually I'm so wiped out after work and then strength training that I just nix the cardio altogether). And I'm getting better at doing Hot Patrick's workouts (don't get me wrong – they're still kicking my ass but at least I can make it through all of the reps without stopping) and looking forward to doing one unassisted pull-up soon (One of my personal goals that I shared with him). I also logged into My Fitness Pal every single day this past month. Yep, even the bad ones (and there were an embarrassing number of those…).

The other exciting little bit of news – The Boy is starting to mess with the My Fitness Pal app that I uploaded to his phone. Not really doing anything seriously but it's nice that we're doing it "together." I adore him in every way and want him healthy so he'll be in my life forever.

And I’m putting it out there again and asking Team Tulle for your support for the next month. Bug me on Twitter, Facebook, check out my Fitness board on Pinterest, and be my friend on My Fitness Pal (I’m akbuilt – invite me to be your friend and I’ll add you to my group!). And please, please keep those practical fitness tips and nutritional suggestions coming – they are REALLY helpful to me. Aaaaand, by SUPER popular request, if you have a weight loss, fitness, cardio, strength training, motivation, healthy eating question for me – fire away in the comments and I'll TOTES answer your question ASAP (Keep in mind, I'm not a doctor/personal trainer/nutritionalist. Just a chick who lost a a lot of weight and learned to work out in the process).
